We argue for Club Penguin to give non members more rights
We argue for Club Penguin to have more events and appoint kids to a payless position to help make club penguin better or like work with kids to make cp better.
Non Members deserve almost as much as members. Club Penguin thinks they can just treat Non members like poop. We are in a tough economy. What if their house is in foreclosure? club penguin team doesn’t even give membership to non members. Just look at those penguins shivering in their igloos, only 2 puffles. The other penguins have like 10,000 coins and non members have less then 9,000 coins. Besides disney has billions of dollars so why do we have to pay club penguin membership? Thank you for your concern about non-members. We have a simple answer to your question. Non-members are taking (c0deX1:(I DONT LIKE THIS PART)) the “Trail” mode of Club Penguin. Members are actually paying to be part of the Club Penguin community. A second reason we give members more rights because we, like all sites, need money to run. The members pay money, and we use that money to keep Club Penguin up and running. So naturally, we need to give the people that pay money a little more rights than the people who don’t.

Here are some true facts you can say to CP.
More than half of all families has been affected badly by the economy and might lose there home or job.
Since the begginning of 2008:
More than 9% of ppl in Nevada
More than 6% of ppl in Flordia and California have Foreclosed.
More than 25% of families have had a parent laid off.
More than half of families have fears of getting layed off.
About 20% of families are getting foreclosure threats.
About 4% of homes have been foreclosed on.
About 20% of families either can’t afford a CP Membership for there kid or they can’t buy it for them cuz it will be a risk and maybe make them have to foreclose.
Send that to Club Penguin.

the ignorance of some of these commentators amazes me…
does CP need money to run its company efficiently, pay employees, etc. etc.? yes, obviously. and should members of CP receive more benefits for paying the fee? makes sense to me.
however kiddies, what you must understand is that CP is owned by DISNEY! (has this been made clear everyone?) Disney is filthy stinking rich! in 2007, Disney banked in about a billion dollars! …yes, im sure they’re struggling to make ends meet. (do some research, perhaps you’ll come across slightly different figures, but overall they make the same point)
now with all of the millions, perhaps billions that Disney makes every year, do you guys really think its necessary for disney to start seriously scrimping on free items much more so than pre-disney ownership, as well as host mean spirited member only parties, as well as shamefully greedy marketing techniques? i should think not!
for me, it was the members only parties which was the straw that broke the camel’s back. parties, if i am correct, should be places where ALL penguins of ALL backgrounds should be able to hang out and have fun. by excluding penguins from parties, disney is building a negative barrier between members and nonmembers.
if CP was not owned by disney, and if disney perhaps donated more than a measly million dollars to charity, then their shallow marketing techniques may be slightly excusable.
granted, ive noticed some of the arguments on the opposing side are somewhat silly as well. im not sure if nonmembers should be fighting for “equal rights” per se, but what they should be fighting for is fairness. By fairness, i mean no more exclusion from parties, which are supposed to be occasions for everyone. And penguins being poor on the streets? be reasonable! kids who are able to afford CP no doubt live in some of the richest countries in the world. if they have families living in tough times, im sure they would understand if their parents could no longer afford frivolities such as CP membership. may i suggest reading a book instead?
the bottom line: Disney is greedy. I am sick of it, and i think perhaps many people are too.
I for one understand that one must pay if they want more benefits. but the exclusion tactics used by Disney just so they can add more to their billions? disgraceful.
this, i think, is what we should be fighting against. no more of this members vs. nonmembers nonsense, but all vs. disney greed!

I have a membership. I have to work for it though by cleaning the bathroom twice a week and doing the dishes 3 times a week. Club Penguin is a business, and like all businesses, they need money. Money helps run the business, by buying the art programs, supplies, employees, coins for change which donated 1 million dollars to the people in africa who really needed it, and there are other things they need like graphic stuff, office spaces, computers, and stuff like that. They also need software for fixing bugs. It’s true that if you want more benefits, you are going to have to try hard and in this case buy it. The point is that you get more benefits by helping club penguin. When more and more people over time join CP, Club Penguin eventually loses money from it for the art and other stuff. It’s exactly the same with that one game, runescape. You have to pay to get the good stuff in the game. I think that the nonmembers actually get more than they even think about. I mean just look at what they get, unlimited time on Club Penguin, clothes, puffles, their own penguin (not just known as guest penguin), ability to talk to others, and other stuff like parties. Even though they don’t get everything CP has to offer, they get a fair ammount from not having to pay for their account. But, Disney has totally destroyed CP ever since they bought it. Club Penguin as an independent Company was great alone. Once disney bought it, they have been discriminating non members from members. I’ll sign the petition. But I’m not signing it against Club Penguin, it’s going directly to the big corporate bully, Disney.

Also members are always treating non members bad. They think of non members as Hobo’s and Noobs and I’m sick of it. Why should club penguin treat non members better. Well us non members if we like CP we ight request it to a friend then they my start playing and become a member so non members do help Disney make more money.

Its cuz the members pay so they get the oppertuinity to have a chance that non members dont,Rember club penguin is a company so they need the money to keep it running or if they only had non members for example then the company wont be able to pay for the super cooputers and then the whole bussiness will start to loose money no more Elite Penguin Force or Cp Toys will sell they flunk out of bussiness see why now,Dont go just blame cp for that acctually congrat members cuz theyre helping by paying every month to them so Source you cant blame Cp Team ok or we wouldnt have Cp belive me ok?

i’m joining. club penguin sells their own penguin toys to market, so why do they need memberships to be paid? i mean, they have toys sold at their disposal so let ‘em quit the memberships but sell the toys. or is that disney?

Gardenax: Close enough. The problem is, people are suppose to be a team (not a real team as in cheerleading or basketball), but for some reason they don’t agree on what they are fighting for. Some say they want old items and some say they want new items.
On Member Parties, non members don’t enjoy it, but for the heck of it Disney is continues to throw them. I am still finding out a reason why Disney keeps doing this. I used to protest on with Non members, till I figured it was wrong, and eventually themselves will figure out it is the most stupidest thing to do. They want war against CP and they are only kids.
Now if you look at America economy, people will tend to stop buying memberships. And that infact is a good thing. Because if Non-members suffer they might need to suffer cause some are cruel. It’s like an old saying to an enemy,”If I go down, you will go down too.” You might see the same post on my blog next month.
My response: *Shrugs* Uhhhhh complicated main idea accepted
. But I don’t get the protesting part. It’s not a war. It’s just “hoping”(more like demanding lolz) CP will listen and might be nicer to non-members. Of course, the chances are they won’t visit here, but then you can say more “bad” things about CP without getting your penguin banned. But supposedly, Disney has made ideas for CP, and really, I think they just want money. I mean, seriously, members get everything, while non-members might only get 5 NEW free items max per year, (assuming that they only got new free item so far), and I just don’t think that’s fair. I’m a member, but I want non-members to be treated equally as members. I liked Club Penguin way before Disney bought it. But Disney had to treat non-members like trash! I don’t want non-members to feel bad I want them to feel equally as us, members. I want everyone to be equal and fair. Disney is just ruining it all!

Source: Yes Disney does donate but against what you are saying they dont donate all their money. They have tons of money just to their disposal.
Source. They give there 10,001 workers tons of money. And non-members out there have to buy membership. They can’t make rooms just for non-members because all the rooms in Club Penguin are for Non-Members. How do you think those kids on Disney announced about the EPF Game. They had to pay Disney and the Kids to get them to talk about it on Disney. They also use money to give to the poor and help them if they don’t have parents at all. Why do you think why they gave that end of the year poll on what they should do. The reason why they are having a lot of member parties on Club Penguin is because they need to pay Disney and There workers. How do you think they design all the stuff dude. Disney. Who helps them with parties. Disney Who helps Club Penguin with parties, knowing when kids get membership, and best of all with everything in Club Penguin History Source00. It’s Disney that helps Club Penguin with everything. And it’s Club Penguin that helps Disney with everything.

I think non-members should be treated fair and the same as us members. I may be a member but I want Club Penguin to stop the rude, mean, and hurtful things to non-members! I want non-members to BE members, and to BE like members, not treated meanly and hurtfully! Source, you have a point, and I agree with that point. I aprreciate all the people who agree with you and want non-members to have the right to be treated like members. Alot of people want non-members to be like us, members. I don’t want anyone to feel like some person that’s there for nothing. I want them to feel that their somebody that is there is a purpose and a reason. I bet soon everything will be for members, and the poor non-members will only be allowed in specific rooms. Disney have taken this too far. First they create special rooms for members only in parties, then they make the white puffle for members only! What’s next?! I agree that we need to stand up to CP and say that this isn’t fair! Non-members should be treated with respect and should be allowed most of the things we members have. CP should be turned back into what it used to be, not some sort of pricey Disney game where non-members get treated like dirt and members get to do practically everything and watch the non-members look at them with rage and jealousy! This must be stopped! I hope CP realises this, before they make things even more ridiculous. So I say, LONG LIVE THE NON-MEMBERS!!

Yea, i think non-members should get more stuff… but I was a non-member for a long time In till November. It wasn’t TERRIBLE, but it wasn’t as fun as being a member. See, I shared a Penguin with my brother during that time, and it wasn’t too much fun sharing…
I’m not to sure if it super bad, but i don’t now.. I mean maybe Club Penguin could give the non members a little more…
The reason they want members a lot is because they want YOU kids to have fun, and by you getting membership, you can have more fun, and save Club penguin from falling to the ground. I know all you non members might think it’s unfair, but what if Billybob ( Lane Merryfield) And Rsnail Didn’t make Club Penguin, then you wouldn’t even HAVE Club Penguin..

I’m a member, but I think that non members need more rights! It isn’t fair to them! Club Penguin would be mroe fun if non-members had rights! I stick up for them! =) Go Non members/Members!

The Reason Is Because Club Penguin Was Bought By Disney For Something Like 1.4 million bucks AND they will get that SAME sum of money in (around) 2012 if they have got Disney 2.5 million (around).
